I happened to catch the Pig’n Whistle on a particularly bad
graffiti day.

Built and run by boxer Eddie Bohn in the ’20s.
It was updated and added to over the decades.

Eddie passed away in 1980, the Whistle was closed shortly after.

Preservationists still battle to keep it from being torn down.

  1. My grand parents have told me several tales about this awesome Denver landmark. It was the happenin’ place to go back in it’s day. I would love to see it open again, as I never got a chance to see it open, only slowly rotting…
